Personal Jesus!
Hello, my friends!
In a world where we often feel overlooked and unnoticed, there exists a profound truth that can transform our perspective. Jesus, the Son of God, didn't come to earth as a distant authority figure or harsh judge. Instead, He came specifically to meet you—yes, you—on a deeply personal level.
Known From The Beginning
Long before you took your first breath, you were known. The Scriptures tell us in Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” This isn't just beautiful poetry; it's the reality of how intimately God has always known you. Jesus didn't arrive on earth to meet strangers—He came to reconnect with those He's known since before time began.
When Jesus met Nathanael in John 1:48, He said, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” This wasn't a parlour trick or coincidence. It was evidence that Jesus already knew Nathanael intimately before they physically met. The same is true for you.
Not To Condemn, But To Connect
Many of us carry wounds from relationships where we've been belittled, criticised, or made to feel inadequate. Perhaps you've even projected these experiences onto your understanding of God. But Jesus makes it clear in John 3:17: “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
The purpose of Jesus coming wasn't to point out your flaws or make you feel small. Rather, He came to bridge the gap between humanity and divinity—to establish a connection that transcends religion and enters the realm of relationship.
The Personal Envoy of Hope
Imagine receiving word that a dignitary from another country was coming specifically to meet you. You'd likely feel honoured, perhaps even confused about why you'd merit such attention. Yet something infinitely greater has occurred. The King of Kings sent His Son as a personal envoy of hope directly to your doorstep.
This wasn't a general diplomatic mission. It was targeted, intentional, and deeply personal. Jesus traversed the cosmos, stepped out of eternity, and entered our messy, complicated world with you in mind.
Embracing The Divine Appointment
When we truly grasp that Jesus came to meet us personally—not to harm or berate us—it changes how we approach Him. No longer do we need to hide our true selves or perform religious duties out of fear. Instead, we can embrace this divine appointment with authenticity and openness.
Every time we pray, read Scripture, or worship, we're not engaging in one-sided religious exercises. We're participating in the very connection that Jesus crossed heaven and earth to establish.
Be blessed today, my friends, for you are known, valued, and sought after by the Creator of the universe who sent His very best—His Son—just to connect with you!
